  • Registered Nurse/ Midwife

  • Educated to Degree Level in health-related studies or equivalent experience
  • ICH-Good Clinical Practice certificate

  • Understanding of major regulatory issues governing the conduct of clinical research (e.g. Research Governance framework for Health and Social Care, Medicines for Human Use 9clinical Trials) Regulations, mental Capacity Act, Data protection Act and Human Tissue Act
  • Sound knowledge of the research, clinical, information and corporate governance agendas
  • Knowledge of the inspection and regulation environment in which clinical research cooperates.
  • Understanding of data protection and confidentiality issues
