Job summary

The University of Manchester is seeking a Clinical Lecturer (Research and Teaching focused) in the Division of Psychology and Mental Health, to deliver clinically relevant teaching on the ClinPsyD while pursuing collaborative research in clinical psychology. You will supervise ClinPsyD and PhD students, design and deliver lectures, workshops, and seminars, and provide academic and pastoral support to learners.

Qualifications

• Clinical psychology qualification or UK-recognised equivalent
• HCPC professional registration required and maintained throughout tenure
• Strong publication record in peer-reviewed outlets and external funding track record
• Growing evidence of research independence and ability to lead projects
• Experience teaching undergraduate and/or postgraduate students

Responsibilities

• Carry out research at internationally recognized levels and publish in leading outlets
• Apply for and win external research funds at competitive levels
• Supervise ClinPsyD and PhD students per Manchester Doctoral College expectations
• Design and deliver inclusive lectures, workshops and seminars for ClinPsyD students
• Provide academic and pastoral support and guidance to ClinPsyD students
