Job summary

Bangor University invites applications for a fixed-term appointment in the School of Psychology. The post supports the Academic Director to organise the curriculum and clinical training for trainees, with teaching duties, research activity and academic governance within NWCPP.

Qualifications

• DClinPsy (or equivalent) in Clinical Psychology
• Registered with the HCPC as a practitioner psychologist
• Eligible for Chartered Clinical Psychologist status with the BPS
• Experience of teaching at higher education level with evidence of successful student learning outcomes

Responsibilities

• Organise the curriculum and develop academic teaching workshops for qualified clinical psychologists.
• Deliver teaching for the NWCPP programme and contribute to its delivery.
• Carry out research in clinical psychology aligned to local and national priorities.
• Provide teaching and coordinate academic input from specialists within the NWCPP.
• Act as Training Co-ordinator for the NWCPP and Internal Assessor for academic work.
• Participate in governance via NWCPP Board of Examiners and Programme Team.
