Vacancy at St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

This is a new post that will be an essential part of the ADHD neurodevelopmental pathway MDT, ensuring compliance with national guidelines.

The post holder is expected to contribute to a highly specialist clinical psychology service for children (5-11 years old), seen within the ADHD assessment pathway. Responsibilities include undertaking screening assessments, specialist psychological assessments, and providing consultation, advice, and expertise to other clinical staff.

The post holder will work with clinicians at St George's Hospital and other connected agencies across South West London and within the local integrated care system (ICS) to ensure the service complements current local provisions and aligns with the vision for improved neurodevelopmental assessments for children and young people.

Main duties include:

• Provision of specialist screening and assessment of children aged 5-11 within the ADHD pathway.

St George's, Epsom, and St Helier University Hospitals and Health Group serve a population of four million people in South West London and North East Surrey. Our sites include:

• St George's Hospital, a major trauma centre and the largest healthcare provider in the area;
• St Helier Hospital, home to the South West Thames Renal and Transplantation Unit and Queen Mary's Hospital for Children;
• Epsom Hospital, home to the South West London Elective Orthopaedic Centre (SWLEOC).

In 2021, the two Trusts formed a hospitals group to collaborate more closely on research, education, and workforce development, while remaining separate entities.
