Job summary

Evolve Psychology is seeking a Clinical Psychologist to join our Norwich-based multidisciplinary team, delivering neurodevelopmental assessments for autism and ADHD in children and young people. You will contribute to diagnostics, feedback, and high-quality reporting across NHS-funded and private pathways.

You will conduct observations, interview histories via Zoom, engage in MDT discussions, and produce diagnostic formulations with support from smart reporting tools.

Qualifications

• Must hold HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist.
• Minimum of 1 year’s experience conducting diagnostic assessments for autism and/or ADHD in children and young people.
• Strong understanding of differential diagnosis in neurodevelopmental presentations.
• In-depth knowledge of DSM-5 diagnostic criteria for autism and ADHD.
• Trained and experienced in diagnostic tools such as ADOS-2, ADI-R, etc.
• Effective time management and caseload organisation.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Highly developed written language skills with families.
• UK work eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Conduct face-to-face structured observations as part of neurodevelopmental assessments.
• Conduct remote developmental history interviews with parents and carers via Zoom.
• Participate in MDT diagnostic discussions with senior clinicians.
• Deliver clear, compassionate feedback to families.
• Produce accurate clinical reports including diagnostic formulations.
• Meet service KPIs and contribute to service development.
• Provide clinical supervision where applicable.
• Travel to a clinic base for in-person assessments (hybrid work).
