Highly Specialist Clinical Psychologist - Renal, permanent B8B 1wte position
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a 1WTE Highly Specialist Clinical Psychologist (8b) to support the Renal Psychology team at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. The team is well-established, and the successful candidate will work alongside a Consultant Clinical Psychologist, an Assistant Psychologist, and a Young Adult Worker within a highly valued renal multidisciplinary team.
The renal service is regional, caring for patients with acute and chronic renal failure across Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, and South Staffordshire. The successful candidate will provide specialist psychological assessments, formulate treatment plans, and deliver interventions for adults with kidney failure, including inpatient, outpatient, face-to-face, and virtual work. Opportunities include developing referral pathways, training renal staff, and participating in MDT meetings.
The department is rapidly growing, with over 30 Clinical Psychologists and trainees. We maintain strong links with local universities and regional clinical psychology training courses.
