We are seeking a creative, forward-thinking, and motivated Practitioner Psychologist to join our adult Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) based in Gateway House, Wymondham. The successful candidate will join a team of psychological therapists including Clinical Psychologists, Counselling Psychologists, Art Therapists, Clinical Associate Psychologists, DBT therapists, and Assistant Psychologists, providing consultation, assessment, formulation, and treatment for working adults requiring secondary care mental health input.
The psychology team operates as part of our multidisciplinary adult community mental health service. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a dedicated and growing team committed to making a difference to patients, carers, and colleagues. The post covers the geographical area of South Norfolk.
The successful applicant will provide consultation, assessment, formulation, and treatment to adults in need of secondary care mental health services. Opportunities include participating in group programmes such as MBT and Emotional Regulation, and contributing to service improvement projects, audits, research, and evaluations. Our team has expertise in therapies including CBT, CAT, EMDR, ACT, Psychodynamic, MDT, and DBT. The post holder will be supported in developing their therapeutic competencies through training and CPD.
