Thank you for your interest in joining us at Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.
We pride ourselves in striving to be an employer of choice.
At the NHS, we are reminded every day of how important life is. As a flexible working friendly organisation, we want to be sure that you can work in a way that is best for us and for our patients, and for you. Speak to us about how we might be able to accommodate a flexible working arrangement whether that’s job share, part time or another flexible pattern. In addition, although the role advertised may have a ‘home’ office base indicated, we remain committed to supporting flexibility around workplace locations. If it works for the service, we will do our best to make it work for you.
Are you passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people? Do you have the clinical knowledge, decision-making skills, and compassion needed to ensure children and families receive the right support at the right time?
We are seeking a Clinical Prioritiser to join our Children's ADHD Service, playing a pivotal role within our multi-disciplinary team. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape and develop a responsive, equitable, and family-centred service while supporting children and young people throughout their ADHD assessment and intervention journey.
As a Clinical Prioritiser, you will review, triage, and process referrals into the Children's ADHD Service using electronic patient records (RIO) and other relevant systems. You will ensure referrals are managed consistently, fairly, and within agreed timescales, helping children, young people, and their families access the most appropriate care and support.
Working closely with colleagues across health, education, social care, and partner agencies, you will use your clinical judgement to identify needs, prioritise referrals, and signpost families to the right services at the right time.
You will also proactively monitor waiting lists and identify children and young people whose circumstances, risks, or support needs may have changed, ensuring appropriate escalation for MDT discussion and intervention when required.
