Job summary

EACH Counselling is seeking a Clinical & Practice Lead to join our head office in Ealing with cross-site duties across EACH. The role is a senior clinical leadership position overseeing governance, safeguarding, supervision, training and practice development within our counselling and client-facing services.

We require an experienced, registered or accredited therapeutic practitioner with a supervision qualification and strong experience in clinical governance and trauma-informed practice.

Qualifications

• Accredited and/or registered with a UK recognised professional body (e.g. BACP, UKCP, HCPC, NCPS, BPS, BABCP).
• Clinical supervision qualification is required.
• Experience assessing and managing complex case presentations.
• Experience supervising staff, trainees or volunteers in health, social care or the voluntary sector.
• Understanding and applying BME-specialist, culturally competent and trauma-informed practice in EACH's work.

Responsibilities

• Senior clinical leadership for governance, safeguarding, supervision, training and practice development across EACH's counselling and client-facing services.
• Oversee clinical governance and safeguarding across all clinical activities and staff.

Job description

Clinical & Practice Lead

Location: EACH Head Office, Ealing, with requirement to work across sites Remote working may be necessary and will be required to work from any of EACH's locations and footpaths.

Salary: £46,000 - £52,000 per annum (Inclusive of Outer London Weighting) for FTE (37.5 hours). £34,346.66 - £38,826.66 pro-rata for 28 hours/week

Hours: 28 - 35 hours per week

Duration: This post is a 12 months' Fixed Term contract (subject to performance and continued funding).

This is a senior clinical leadership role responsible for clinical governance, safeguarding, supervision, training and practice development across EACH's counselling and client-facing services.

You will:

• Be an experienced, appropriately registered or accredited therapeutic practitioner with a

You will need:

• Accredited an/or registered with an appropriate UK recognised professional body, e.g. BACP, UKCP, HCPC, NCPS, BPS, BABCP
• Clinical supervision qualification
• Experience of assessing and managing complex case presentations
• Experience of providing line management and/or supervising staff, trainees or volunteers in health, social care or the voluntary sector
• Understanding and experience of BME-specialist, culturally competent and trauma-informed practice in an area relevant to EACH's work (mental health, substance misuse and domestic abuse)
