Job summary

Care Dorset Ltd is seeking a Nurse Trainer - Learning and Development to support clinical learning needs across services. You will work with the CarePath Academy Team and report to the Learning & Development Manager to enhance training quality and consistency.

You will create engaging materials for both registered and non-registered colleagues, promote best practice aligned with NMC standards, and contribute to inductions, mentorship, and workplace assessments.

Qualifications

• Develop in-house clinical training with SMEs.
• Deliver educational sessions on clinical and non-clinical topics to maintain workforce capabilities.
• Mentor registered clinicians and advise on external qualifications as needed.

Responsibilities

• Working with SMEs to develop high-quality in-house clinical training programmes and resources.
• Create and facilitate educational sessions on a broad range of clinical topics including skin integrity, diabetes care, PEG feeding, MUST, and more.
• Support induction programmes for new starters and provide mentoring to registered nurses and clinical staff.
