Job summary

Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust is recruiting a Clinical Physiologist (Band 5) for the Community Diagnostic Centre in Willesden, with rotation to lung function labs and the Sleep Centre. The post involves education of trainees and active participation in audits and service development.

The successful candidate should have a good science background with a BSc in Healthcare Science (respiratory major) or equivalent, with DESIRABLE ARTP examination and RCCP registration progress.

Qualifications

• Experience in lung function testing desirable.
• BSc in Healthcare Science (respiratory major) or equivalent essential.
• ARTP practitioners examination and RCCP registration desired.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard lung function testing, initially supervised, then unsupervised.
• Lead, educate and encourage patients in test techniques and cooperation.
• Assist in efficient performance and administration of the Lung Function service.
