An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Trainee Clinical Photographer/Qualified band 5 Clinical Photographer to join the experienced and friendly Clinical Photography and Design Services team at the Birmingham Women's and Children's Hospital.
Our department provides a wide range of photography and video services to specialties throughout the trust such as Dermatology, Burns, Plastics, and Cleft Lip and Palate to name a few. You will work in our purpose-built studio, on the wards, and in operating theatres to provide a first-class photography service to our service users and contribute to a positive patient journey throughout our hospitals.
The ideal candidate will embody our trust values, being ambitious, brave, and compassionate in everything they do. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, motivated, and a team player who can work on their own initiative when needed. A desire to work with children is a must! You will be rewarded with a varied and interesting job role and the chance to develop your skills as a clinical photographer taught by a very experienced and motivated team.
If not already qualified, the successful candidate will be required to undertake a funded postgraduate certificate in Clinical Photography, run by Staffordshire University. Responsibilities include:
