Job summary

North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust in the Tees Valley area is seeking a Clinical Pharmacy Technician Manager to lead the expanding clinical pharmacy team and implement the clinical pharmacy strategy across University Hospitals Tees.

You will supervise senior and junior technicians, manage service delivery for designated Clinical Service Units, ensure safe and effective use of medicines, and work with the pharmacy leadership team to drive quality improvement and staff development

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in a hospital pharmacy setting.
• Strong leadership and management skills with a clinical focus.
• Ability to drive quality improvement and service development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a coordinated clinical pharmacy service for designated units.
• Supervise senior and junior pharmacy technicians and ward staff.
• Ensure safe and effective use of medicines and align with national guidance.
• Lead across sites within University Hospitals Tees when required.
• Support leadership team with staff development and service quality improvement.
