Job summary

North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust invites a highly motivated pharmacist to join as Clinical Pharmacy Manager, leading the expanding clinical pharmacy team across University Hospitals Tees to deliver a robust pharmacy strategy.

The post requires leadership and management experience at Band 8a level or above, excellent teamwork, and the ability to oversee a coordinated service with senior pharmacists and support staff, across sites within University Hospitals Tees.

Qualifications

• Experience in a team management role in a hospital setting at a Band 8a level or above is essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the provision of a coordinated and comprehensive clinical pharmacy service for designated Clinical Service Units.
• Lead and supervise senior and foundation pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and support staff.
• Ensure safe and effective use of medicines and compliance with national guidance.
