University Hospitals of Northamptonshire (UHN) is seeking an Advanced Pharmacist to lead medicines optimisation across Medicine or Surgery at Northampton General Hospital. The role includes responsibility for Practice Development within the Pharmacy team and supporting junior staff.

You will work closely with Principal Pharmacists and Associate Chief Pharmacists, focusing on advanced practice, team development, and cross-team collaboration to improve patient outcomes and safe, cost-effective

Formación

• Registered pharmacist with current registration
• Experience in advanced clinical pharmacy
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams

Responsabilidades

• Lead medicines optimisation initiatives and service developments.
• Provide expert medicines governance and prescribing support.
• Develop clinical pathways and prescribing guidance.
• Supervise and mentor pharmacists, trainees and technicians.
• Participate in weekend, late duty and on-call services.
