Location: Warminster, Wiltshire

Hours: Part-time or full-time considered

Salary: Up to £55,000 (dependent on experience)

Overview

Healthii People is recruiting on behalf of a supportive, training GP practice seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to join their experienced team. This is a patient-facing role focused on medicines optimisation, repeat prescribing, and long-term condition management.

The postholder will be supported to enrol in the PCCE pathway and work toward an independent prescribing qualification if not already obtained.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Run clinics for long-term conditions and conduct clinical medication reviews
  2. Support with care home and domiciliary medicines reviews
  3. Handle prescription queries and contribute to repeat prescribing systems
  4. Conduct medicines reconciliation post-discharge
  5. Help implement safety alerts, local guidelines, and audit recommendations
  6. Contribute to improving prescribing quality and safety across the practice
Requirements
  • GPhC-registered pharmacist
  • At least 2 years' experience
  • Willing to undertake the PCCE pathway
  • Team-oriented, with strong clinical and communication skills
Desirable
  • Previous experience in general practice
  • Independent prescriber (or training towards)
  • PCCE pathway completed
