Job Description:

Mediplacements are looking to recruit a band 7 Clinical Pharmacist to work with a client of ours based in Lancashire.

The pay for this position is £27-£32 per hour, and we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible for an ongoing duration.

Successful candidates must hold an MPharm degree, be GPHC registered and have experience working as a clinical trials pharmacist.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Clinical review of prescriptions and patient-orientated medication review
2. Provision of specialist pharmaceutical advice to multi-disciplinary teams
3. Involvement of patients in decisions about their medicines to support adherence and improve outcomes
4. Potential to utilise non-medical prescribing skills within the role outline
5. Opportunity to influence the development of services to improve patient care through service redesign
6. Participation in clinical audit and service evaluation
7. Supervision of junior pharmacy staff
8. Contribution to the training and development of junior pharmacy team members and other members of the multi-disciplinary team
9. Participation in the clinical supervision programme
10. Input to the development of policies and procedures and treatment guidelines
11. Contribute to initiatives to improve medicines safety
