Job summary

Boots UK is seeking a registered pharmacist to deliver trusted care in our community-focused stores. You’ll apply clinical expertise daily, work with a supportive team, and use in-store and digital tools to serve patients.

The role emphasizes patient safety, high standards of care, and involvement in enhanced services. You’ll coach colleagues, engage with local healthcare professionals, and contribute to innovative service delivery.

Qualifications

• Registered with the relevant pharmacy regulator (GPhC, PSNI, PSI).
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience leading patient and customer care within a pharmacy setting.
• Passion for delivering essential, advanced, and private services.
• Collaborative, team-first mindset and eagerness to coach others.

Responsibilities

• Deliver NHS, locally commissioned, and private services using both in-store and digital tools.
• Lead professional and legal standards for patient safety and pharmacy compliance.
• Monitor, evaluating, and continually improving standards of care and safety.
• Work with the Store Manager to develop the capability of the wider healthcare team.
• Grow talent that reflects the communities we serve; coaching, mentoring and supporting your colleagues every step of the way.
• Representing Boots within the local community and with healthcare professionals.
