Job summary

The General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) is recruiting experienced pharmacists who are independent prescribers to join our regulatory team. You will contribute to patient safety by enhancing the quality of pharmacy services and supporting the delivery of our 2030 vision.

We welcome applications from practising, registered pharmacist independent prescribers with broad clinical expertise across medicines safety, long-term conditions, mental health, aesthetics and medical cannabis.

Qualifications

• Currently practising, registered pharmacist independent prescribers from all settings with significant and broad clinical experience.
• Experience across medicines safety and risk management, long-term conditions, mental health, aesthetics and medical cannabis.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist clinical advice across the organisation.
• Assist with inspection activities and assess quality of clinical pharmacy services.
• Advise Fitness to Practise teams on clinical matters and upskill internal colleagues.
