Job summary

Job description

We are excited to offer new opportunities within our highly respected pharmacy team, working across Chester, Wirral and Macclesfield. Our dispensing service is fully outsourced, freeing you from dispensary commitments and allowing you to focus on clinical practice. In addition, on-call responsibilities are managed remotely, offering greater flexibility and work-life balance.

Role Highlights

• Deliver high-quality, patient-focused clinical pharmacy services

• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to optimise medicines use
• Support specialist areas including perinatal mental health (Mother & Baby Unit), CAMHs inpatient services, low secure forensic units & MHIST (mental health intensive support team)
• Contribute to service development, audit, teaching and quality improvement
• Opportunities to develop clinical expertise and leadership skills

The post holder will contribute to the planning and delivery of specialist mental health clinical pharmacy services as part of the CWP pharmacy team. This will include working as a member of the multidisciplinary team to ensure that pharmaceutical care needs of patients are met, ensuring that medicines management standards are upheld in all areas of the trust and providing education on safe and effective use of medication to medical and nursing staff, patients and carers. The post holder will provide professional support and supervision to pre-registration and student pharmacists.
