Job summary

University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust is seeking a full-time Band 6 Clinical Education Facilitator to support the Practice Development workstreams, including the Preceptorship programme and CPD delivery. The post reports to PDT Practice Facilitators within the Education and Research leadership.

Responsibilities

• Support newly-qualified nurses and nursing associates on the Trust Preceptorship programme in practice.
• Visit Preceptees in clinical areas; assist assessment of clinical skills.
• Support Preceptors and Ward Managers with development plans and capability processes for performance.
• Deliver Continuing Professional Development training such as IV drug administration, venepuncture, cannulation.
• Support the Trust by working clinically in varied settings during operational pressures.
