Job summary

University Hospitals Tees is seeking a HCPC registered orthotist to join our friendly team. This 0.6 WTE role involves working across acute and community sites with a range of clinical specialisms.

Access to suitable transport is essential. You will assess, prescribe and fit orthoses autonomously, contribute to service improvement, and help develop knowledge bases to ensure best practice across wards and community settings.

Responsibilities

• Assess, prescribe and fit orthoses for a range of patients, including those in inpatient wards.
• Work autonomously to assess, prescribe and fit orthoses across acute and community sites.
• Contribute to service improvement projects and development of knowledge base to ensure best practice.
• Manage interventions within scope of practice to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care.
• May be required to work across sites within South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust.

Our friendly team of orthotists are seeking an orthotist to join their dynamic, forward thinking team.

We are looking for 0.6 wte clinician to work across our acute and community sites across a range of clinical specialisms. It is essential that the post holder has access to suitable transport.

As an HCPC registered clinician , you will work autonimoulsy to competently and confidently assess, prescribe, and fit orthoses to a range of patients with varying routine presentations, including inpatient wards.

You will work within your scope of practice to manage appropriate interventions, ensuring value, high-quality, patient-centred care.

You will be involved in service improvement projects and development of knowledge base to ensure best practice.
