Job summary

South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an orthotist (0.6 wte) to join the dynamic team across our acute and community sites. The post requires HCPC registration and transport access to work across multiple locations.

You will assess, prescribe and fit orthoses for diverse patient groups, including inpatient wards, while working within your scope of practice to ensure high-quality, patient-centred care.

Qualifications

• HCPC registered clinician authorized to assess, prescribe and fit orthoses.
• Ability to work autonomously across varied clinical presentations.
• Experience with inpatient wards and mobility devices is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to service improvement projects and knowledge base development.
• Provide patient-centred orthotic care across acute and community settings.
• Collaborate across sites within University Hospitals Tees as required.

Job description

Our friendly team of orthotists are seeking an orthotist to join their dynamic, forward thinking team.

We are looking for 0.6 wte clinician to work across our acute and community sites across a range of clinical specialisms. It is essential that the post holder has access to suitable transport.

As an HCPC registered clinician , you will work autonimoulsy to competently and confidently assess, prescribe, and fit orthoses to a range of patients with varying routine presentations, including inpatient wards., You will work within your scope of practice to manage appropriate interventions, ensuring value, high-quality, patient-centred care.

You will be involved in service improvement projects and development of knowledge base to ensure best practice.
