This role would suit an Optometrist who has 12 months post-registration experience and holds current GOC registration. You will be willing to expand your horizons and take the leap into the clinical side of optometry.
Our Optometrists provide independent eye care and make assessments on the need for cataract surgery, ensuring patients understand the risks and benefits and providing reassurance throughout.
If successful, we will support your professional development, including training for YAG Laser procedures.
As a Clinical Optometrist, you will work alongside a wider clinical team to provide safe, effective, and efficient clinical care, focusing on patient-centric, independent eye care and assessments for cataract surgery.
Since 2012, CHEC has collaborated with the NHS to increase patient choice and provide accessible, timely ophthalmology and gastroenterology care—free at the point of use. We operate across a nationwide network of community hospitals and clinics, expanding our services to include ENT and Dermatology, aiming to deliver the best clinical outcomes and patient care.
