Job summary

Compass Rise Wakefield in the United Kingdom is seeking a confident and compassionate Clinical Operations Manager to lead clinical practice for children, young people and families. You will work with the Service Manager and local leadership to deliver high quality, early mental health and emotional wellbeing support.

Qualifications

  • A relevant professional qualification and current registration within your core profession.
  • At least three years’ experience working in a relevant community setting with children and young people.
  • Senior clinical experience working with the mental health and emotional wellbeing needs of children and young people.
  • Experience providing individual and/or group clinical supervision and supporting the development of practitioners.
  • Strong safeguarding knowledge and senior level experience of safeguarding children and young people.
  • Experience of multi agency and multi disciplinary working and developing effective partnerships.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, organisation and risk management skills.
  • A commitment to evidence based practice, service improvement and developing progressive approaches to delivery.
  • A flexible, solution focused and resilient approach, with the ability to manage changing priorities and work effectively under pressure.
  • Access to your own transport or the ability to travel efficiently between community venues.

Are you ready to step into a role where your clinical leadership can make a real difference to your team, your service and the children and young people you support?

As Clinical Operations Manager, you will work alongside the Service Manager and local leadership team to deliver high quality, accessible early mental health and emotional wellbeing support for children, young people and families.

You will help shape a service that is values led, evidence informed and focused on outcomes that matter. You will provide clinical leadership, supervision and governance, helping practitioners deliver safe, consistent and effective support. You will play a key role in service development, quality improvement, safeguarding, risk management and clinical audit, while supporting the team to respond to changing needs and priorities.

You will be a visible, trusted and supportive leader, working closely with practitioners, colleagues and partner agencies. You will contribute to workforce development, training, practice development and performance, while building strong relationships across services to improve pathways and outcomes for children and young people.

About You

You are a confident and compassionate clinical leader who brings experience, clarity and a strong sense of integrity to your work. You can balance support with accountability, remain calm when managing complex situations and help others feel confident in their practice.

You will need:
