Responsabilités

To undertake clinical risk assessment and management plans and develop within these, comprehensive multi agency
To be one of the nursing specialists within OBIS
To provide specialist nursing advice for offenders with learning disabilities, including direct work with service users and families, advice to colleagues, other service providers and carers
To identify and provide training in response to specific service user needs within various settings
To carry out joint assessments with other disciplines/agencies where appropriate
To take part in research of health needs of people with learning disabilities to develop high quality services
To maintain a personal and professional profile to fulfil NMC Revalidation requirements
To provide a person-centred approach integrated within care planning to optimise integration into community life
To participate in and encourage a multi-disciplinary approach at all times
To develop and maintain a culture where service users, supported by advocates, can share in decisions affecting their lives

Main duties of the job

Undertake clinical risk assessment and management plans and develop within these, comprehensive multi agency
To be one of the nursing specialist within OBIS
To provide specialist nursing advice for offenders with learning disabilities. This includes direct work with service users and families, advice to colleagues, other service providers and carers.
To identify and provide training in response to specific service user needs within a variety of settings where the care of the individual is provided.
To carry out joint assessments with other disciplines / agencies where appropriate
To take part in research of the health needs of people who have a Learning Disabilities to assist in developing high quality services to meet the needs of the service users and to enable learning and development to encourage high performing teams.
To maintain a personal and professional profile to fulfil NMC Revalidation requirements.
To provide a person-centred approach integrated within the care planning approach, which optimises integration into community life.
To participate in and encourage a multi-disciplinary approach at all times.
To develop and maintain a culture in which service users, supported by their advocates, where appropriate, are able to share in decisions, which affect their lives.
