An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic nurse to join our established, friendly and supportive team of Clinical Nurse Specialists. The Emergency Gynaecology Unit (EGU) provides a dedicated outpatient gynaecology service which provides advice and treatment to women requiring specialist gynaecology care. The unit comprises of separate gynaecology services including Abortion care, Early Pregnancy, Emergency Gynaecology. We are looking for a committed and experienced nurse with skills within the early pregnancy and emergency gynaecology setting or if you are a nurse / midwife with a clinical ultrasound qualification, experience and skills within early pregnancy, please do apply for the band 7 role.
We have a wide mix of patients, and we have a reputation for providing them with an exceptional level of care. The successful candidate will therefore have good communication skills and will be motivated to provide a high-quality service to our patients.

This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for an enthusiastic person with a proven background and experience within the following areas early pregnancy and have knowledge of needs of an and emergency gynaecology service. It will include working alongside the specialist abortion care service who provide local and national provision
The post holder will work closely with the Lead Nurse and Lead consultants working alongside the gynaecology nursing team providing cross cover as required for the gynaecology service.
You should be a forward thinking individual who is able to work independently and provide a high standard of care.
