Job summary

Exemplar Health Care's Fernwood care home in Knowsley is seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, lead a team of nursing and care colleagues, and ensure delivery of high-quality, person-centred care.

You will work with the Home Manager, drive clinical governance, and comply with CQC standards, developing your clinical skills and progressing within a growing provider.

This leadership role requires an NMC PIN and at least three years post-registration management experience.

Qualifications

• First-level nursing registration with an NMC PIN.
• Minimum of three years post‑registration experience with leadership or supervisory responsibility.
• Strong communication and team leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of nursing and care colleagues to meet medical, physical, emotional, and safeguarding needs.
• Provide strong leadership to sustain high standards and drive continuous improvement.
• Oversee clinical elements, risks, and governance in line with requirements.
• Ensure compliance with clinical governance framework and CQC standards.
