Job summary

Exemplar Health Care seeks a Clinical Nurse Manager at Maypole Grove, Kings Heath, Birmingham. You will work with the Home Manager to run the home effectively, leading a nursing and care team to deliver high-quality care and maintain standards.

The role offers development and progression opportunities, a clear leadership path, and a strong focus on governance, patient safety and staff development within a leading provider of complex care.

Qualifications

• First-level nursing registration with an NMC PIN.
• Minimum of three years post-registration experience and management/supervisory experience.
• Strong understanding of nursing care best practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of care and nursing colleagues to meet medical, physical, emotional and safeguarding needs.
• Provide strong leadership to maintain high standards and drive continuous improvement.
• Oversee and manage all clinical elements and risks.
• Ensure compliance with clinical governance, regulatory requirements and CQC standards.
• Supervise the Nursing Team to ensure timely care plans and risk assessments reflect interventions.

Location: 20 Maypole Grove, Kings Heath, Birmingham, B14 4LP
Contract type: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week
Rate: £54,833.52 per annum

About the role

As a Clinical Nurse Manager with Exemplar Health Care, you’ll play a key role in the daily running of our home.

No two days will ever be the same, but your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• leading a team of care and nursing colleagues to ensure that people’s medical, physical, emotional and safeguarding needs are met
• providing strong leadership to maintain high standards and drive continuous improvement
• overseeing and managing all clinical elements and risks
• ensuring compliance with our clinical governance framework, regulatory requirements and CQC standards
• supervising your Nursing Team to ensure that care plans and risk assessments are completed and reviewed in a timely manner and reflect interventions appropriately

You must also have a first-level nursing registration with a valid Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) PIN.

As this is a leadership role, you should have a minimum of three years post-registration experience and management or supervisory experience, training or qualification.

• the ability to demonstrate an excellent range of clinical and digital skills
• lots of enthusiasm for encouraging and motivating others
