Job summary

Exemplar Health Care is seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager for Hylton Grange in Sunderland. You will lead a nursing team to deliver high-quality care, ensure governance, and drive improvements across clinical services.

You will possess an NMC PIN and at least three years of post-registration management experience, with a focus on safety, care quality, and staff development in a complex care setting.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid NMC PIN and be registered to practise as a nurse.
• Minimum of three years post-registration experience with management or supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of driving quality and continuous improvement.
• Excellent clinical and digital skills with a solid understanding of nursing best practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of care and nursing colleagues to meet residents' medical, physical, emotional and safeguarding needs.
• Provide strong leadership to maintain high standards and drive continuous improvement.
• Oversee and manage all clinical elements and associated risks, ensuring regulatory compliance (CQC) and clinical governance.
• Supervise nursing staff to ensure care plans and risk assessments are timely and accurately updated.

Contract type: Full time, 40 hours per week

Rate: Up to £14.80 per hour

Hylton Grange is a care service for adults living with complex and high acuity needs.

In this role, you’ll work closely with the Home Manager to ensure that the home runs effectively and efficiently, and manage a team of nursing and care colleagues to drive quality and maintain high standards of care.

About the role

As a Clinical Nurse Manager with Exemplar Health Care, you’ll play a key role in the daily running of our care service.

No two days will ever be the same, but your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

leading a team of care and nursing colleagues to ensure that all our residents’ medical, physical, emotional and safeguarding needs are met

providing strong leadership to maintain high standards and drive continuous improvement

overseeing and managing all clinical elementsand risks

ensuring compliance with our clinical governance framework, regulatory requirements and CQC standards

supervisingyour Nursing Team to ensure that care plans and risk assessments are completed and reviewed in a timely manner and reflect interventions appropriately.

Above all, you’re someone who identifies with our Exemplar Health Care values of fun, integrity, responsiveness, success and teamwork.

You must also have a first-level nursing registration with a valid Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) PIN.

And, as this is a leadership role, you should have a minimum of three years post-registration experience and management or supervisory experience, training or qualification.
