Job summary

CNTW NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Clinical Nurse Lead for our Morpeth wards. You will act as deputy to the Ward Manager, coordinate evidence-based patient care, supervise nursing staff, and work in a multidisciplinary team to support recovery-focused inpatient mental health services.

You will deliver compassionate, empathetic care, develop collaborative care plans, facilitate clinical practice, and lead staff training and supervisions.

Qualifications

• Post registration clinical experience
• Clinical supervision
• Care co-ordination
• Safeguarding
• 12 to 24 month band 5 qualified nurse experience dependent upon service need

Responsibilities

• Provide effective leadership to the ward team and support the Ward Manager
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centred, evidence-based care
• Develop and implement individualised care plans through assessment and clinical formulation
• Coordinate clinical practice and supervise staff nurses and assistants
• Ensure compliance with policies and drive service improvement while operating across a 24-hour service
