Job summary

Realm Recruit is seeking a Clinical Negligence Solicitor to manage your own clinical negligence caseload, contributing to a collaborative, values-driven team culture. This role provides opportunities to work on high-profile cases while maintaining a strong focus on client care and integrity.

The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in medical negligence law, have excellent communication skills, and be able to analyse detailed medical evidence. The position supports hybrid working, allowing for flexibility with 2 days in the Manchester office.

Who we’re looking for

• Grade C or Grade B Clinical Negligence Solicitor (or equivalent experience)
• Strong experience running your own medical negligence caseload
• Ability to analyse and interpret detailed medical evidence
• Experience with case management systems (Proclaim desirable)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Compassionate approach and strong client-care skills
• AvMA, Law Society Clinical Negligence Panel or APIL membership (desired)

What you’ll be doing

• Manage your own claimant clinical negligence caseload from start to finish
• Work closely with clients, medical experts and counsel
• Analyse medical records and evidence to build strong cases
• Draft key legal documentation and progress claims efficiently
• Contribute to a collaborative, values-driven team culture
• Potential involvement in large group actions and high-profile claims alongside senior colleagues
• Work 2 days per week in the Manchester office as part of a hybrid model
