Job summary

BCL Legal is working with a respected specialist firm in Manchester to recruit an experienced Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join its growing team.

You will handle a high-quality caseload of complex clinical negligence matters, including birth injuries, surgical errors and inquest work, within a collaborative, supportive culture. 8+ PQE and strong client care are essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ PQE Solicitor with strong claimant clinical negligence experience.
• Excellent technical ability and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and client care skills.
• Pragmatic, empathetic and collaborative team player.

Responsibilities

• Manage a high-value, complex clinical negligence caseload.
• Handle birth injury, surgical error, delayed diagnosis and misdiagnosis matters.
• Take on fatal claims and inquest work where required.
• Provide excellent client care in sensitive matters within a collaborative culture.

I'm currently working with a highly regarded specialist firm that is looking to add an experienced Clinical Negligence Solicitor to its growing Manchester team.

This is a great opportunity to join a supportive and collaborative claimant practice, working on a high-quality caseload of complex and often high-value clinical negligence matters.

The work includes:

• Complex and high-value clinical negligence claims
• Birth injury, surgical error, delayed diagnosis and misdiagnosis
• Fatal claims and inquest work
• Sensitive and often challenging matters where excellent client care is key

You'll be joining a specialist firm with a strong reputation and a genuinely collaborative culture, with plenty of support and opportunity to continue developing.

• 8+ PQE Solicitor / Grade A
• Strong experience handling your own claimant clinical negligence caseload
• Confident managing complex matters with appropriate supervision
