RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Assist in managing case files by undertaking fee-earning work, or manage a small caseload of low-value or pre-funded matters under the supervision of qualified lawyers, including performing routine and straightforward legal tasks.
2. Draft legal documents using standard precedents and templates, ensuring they comprehensively address relevant legal and factual matters and accurately reflect client instructions.
3. Conduct thorough legal research using appropriate tools and sources, and present findings clearly and accurately.
4. Perform all administrative duties relevant to the role.
5. Support fee earners in preparing for business development and marketing initiatives.
6. Attend business events where appropriate.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience within Clinical Negligence
• Solid understanding of Microsoft Office suite and other relevant IT platforms
• Demonstrate a good understanding of client relationship management
