Clayton Legal is seeking an experienced Clinical Negligence Fee Earner in Liverpool to manage a varied claimant caseload from instruction to conclusion. You will provide practical legal advice, keep clients informed, and work collaboratively with Counsel, the Courts and medical experts.

The role suits a Solicitor or CILEX professional with 2–6 years PQE, offering a supportive team, flexible hybrid working and career progression within a forward-thinking firm.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor or CILEX professional with 2-6 years' PQE in Clinical Negligence.
• Experience managing own claimant Clinical Negligence caseload.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Client-focused with empathy and discretion.

Responsabilités

• Manage own caseload of claimant Clinical Negligence matters from instruction to conclusion.
• Provide clear, practical legal advice and progress updates to clients.
• Conduct legal research and prepare pleadings and correspondence to a high standard.
• Collaborate with Counsel, Courts, medical experts and third parties.
• Attend meetings, conferences and court hearings where appropriate.
• Proactively manage deadlines and case milestones.
• Maintain accurate, compliant case files and use case management systems.
• Support team with audits, risk assessments and quality checks.
