Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of Medical Assistant program and experience in medical assisting or acute patient care, or military medics education with honorable discharge.
• Current BLS certification or obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Knowledge of basic medical procedures and terminology.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with sterile and non-sterile procedures.
• Perform patient scheduling, pre-authorizations, registration, and data entry.
• Conduct basic medical screenings and vital signs.
• Administer medications and vaccinations as directed.
