About the role

You will have access to some of the leading research programmes in mental health and, whatever your role, there are opportunities to develop skills and clinical practice by being part of ground‑breaking work.

You will work within the senior management team to ensure safe, effective care and treatment, and be supported in their development with learning opportunities. Day‑to‑day leadership of a clinical team and practitioners and other staff in the multi‑disciplinary team. Act as a champion for clinical standards and for continuous improvement in the service user experience.

About this role

Are you an experienced, credible, motivated, resilient and inspiring clinician with either a Mental Health or Learning Disability background? We are looking for a Clinical Manager to lead the team at our CAMHS GAU unit Pebble Lodge at Alumhurst Road, Bournemouth. We welcome nurses from all backgrounds with experience to apply.

As a Clinical Manager you will bring strong clinical leadership and management skills, along with a good understanding of complex mental health, including attachment and trauma issues for children and young people. You will be able to demonstrate a supportive and empathetic approach to service users and carers. You will help to support provide a high quality of care and treatment for patients who have physical, social, psychological and emotional health needs. The purpose of the ward is to offer comprehensive assessments and treatment enabling Service Users to have shorter stays in hospital and to develop clear plans of care.
