Job summary

The University of Leeds invites applications for an NIHR Integrated Academic Training Clinical Lecturer post. The post is available for up to four years to enable attainment of a CCT, joining the Leeds Integrated Academic Training programme with a training contract through the Regional Postgraduate Deanery.

The successful candidate will split time 50/50 between continuing or establishing a new research programme and appropriate clinical training, with opportunities to align to LIMR research

Qualifications

• PhD/MD submitted by the time you apply and fully awarded by taking up the post.
• Experience in academic clinical training and teaching at undergraduate/postgraduate level.
• Ability to contribute to grant applications and career mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead an independent research programme alongside clinical training.
• Share responsibility for delivering high quality undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.
• Collaborate within LIMR and NHS Trust to advance clinical academic goals.
