University of Birmingham is recruiting an NIHR Academic Clinical Lecturer to support integrated academic and clinical training across General Practice or Otolaryngology. This fixed-term role is funded through NIHR Integrated Academic Training, combining clinical service with academic development over up to four years or until CCT is achieved.

The post sits within the College of Medicine and Health and includes 50% clinical training and 50% academic work, with opportunities for post-doctoral

Qualifikationen

• Medically qualified doctor eligible for training or progressing toward CCT in General Practice or Otolaryngology.
• PhD/MD/DPhil completed and awarded before start date.
• Demonstrated potential for clinical academic development with research track record.

Aufgaben

• Approximately 50% clinical specialty training and 50% academic training.
• Undertake post-doctoral research and build a portfolio to support future independent funding.
• Contribute to clinical and academic leadership as part of the NIHR Integrated Academic Training pathway.
