Job summary

The University of Cumbria, in partnership with the North West Ambulance Service, invites applications for a 2-year fixed term Clinical Lecturer (or secondment) to deliver the BSc (Hons) in Paramedic Science. The post is Lancaster-based with occasional travel to neighbouring Trusts to support programme delivery.

You should be a registered healthcare professional with pre-hospital experience and either ambulance-based or HEI healthcare education delivery background.

Qualifications

• Must be a registered healthcare professional with pre-hospital experience.
• Experience delivering ambulance-based pre-hospital education or HEI healthcare education.
• Eligible for or in the process of completing the postgraduate certificate in learning and teaching.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the University's BSc (Hons) in Paramedic Science with the academic team.
• Teach and assess students in pre-hospital education settings.
• Travel to neighbouring Trusts to support programme delivery.
• Engage with induction and development activities for teaching excellence.
