Job summary

The University of Cumbria invites applications for a 2-year fixed term Clinical Lecturer role based in Lancaster, working with North West Ambulance Service to deliver the BSc (Hons) in Paramedic Science to NWAS staff enrolled on the degree apprenticeship. The post may require travel to support delivery across sites.

The successful candidate will be an appropriately registered healthcare professional with pre-hospital experience, prepared to contribute to pre-hospital and higher education

Qualifications

• Registered healthcare professional with pre-hospital experience.
• Experience in healthcare education delivery is beneficial.
• Ability to work collaboratively with NHS/academic partners.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the BSc (Hons) Paramedic Science to NWAS staff.
• Collaborate with the NWAS academic team and university colleagues.
• Support delivery across delivery sites and travel as required.
• Assist with induction and teaching development for new starters.
