Harbour Healthcare Limited is seeking a Clinical Lead Nurse (RGN) for Bishopsmead Lodge in Bristol. The role pays £25.77 per hour for 44 hours weekly, with every-other-weekend shifts and a focus on resident care excellence.

The successful candidate will have at least 3 years in a similar lead nursing role, hold NMC registration or be eligible, and lead a team to ensure care plans and medicines administration follow NMC guidelines and company policy.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in a similar lead nursing role.
• Must hold NMC registration or be eligible for practice.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsabilités

• Assess all aspects of client care needs and provide health supervision and direct nursing care.
• Assess social and health care needs of new clients and maintain ongoing assessment and review of all other clients.
• Ensure care plans are completed and maintained with clients, relatives and other health care professionals, in line with NMC guidelines and company policy.
• Administer prescribed medicines and document per company procedures and NMC guidelines.
• Supervise and instruct junior staff in the home, providing guidance where appropriate.
• Attend mandatory training days/courses on or off site when required.
• Establish and maintain good communication with clients, relatives and the multidisciplinary team; provide administrative support when required.

Your Main responsibilities for being a Nurse are:

Assess all aspects of client's care needs and provide health supervision and direct Nursing Care when required.

Assess social and health care needs of new clients and maintain on-going assessment and review of all other Clients.

Ensure that Client care plans are completed and maintained in conjunction with Clients, Relatives and other Health Care Professionals, and in accordance with NMC guidelines and company policy.

Administer prescribed medicines and document the same in accordance with the company's procedure and NMC guidelines.

Practice maximum integrity in all dealings with Clients personal and financial affairs and avoid abuse of the privileged relationship which exists clients.

Supervise and instruct junior and new staff members in all aspects of their work in the care home, giving help and guidance where appropriate.

Attend mandatory training days/courses on or off site when required.

Establish and maintain good communication with clients, relatives and with the multidisciplinary team. Provide administrative support when required.
