Job summary

Opcare Limited in Cambridge is seeking a Clinical Lead Prosthetist for a 12-month secondment. This role offers an ambitious clinician the chance to develop management and clinical skills while leading the Prosthetic Clinical Team. Responsibilities include managing clinical operations and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to improve service delivery.

Successful candidates will have full HCPC Registration and proven experience as a Prosthetist. The role comes with a competitive salary and extensive benefits including a significant holiday allowance and family leave options.

Qualifications

• Practical experience as a Prosthetist is essential.
• Management or mentoring experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Ability to meet Enhanced DBS Check requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic clinical leadership for the Opcare Centre.
• Manage the clinical team including performance management.
• Oversee daily clinical operations to meet service delivery goals.
• Promote a positive team culture and ensure adherence to clinical standards.
• Manage own clinical caseload alongside leadership duties.

Proven practical experience working successfully as a Prosthetist

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships

Positive and proactive 'can-do' attitude

Experience within high performing teams
