Person specificationQUALIFICATIONSEssential criteria- Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent
- HCPC registration
Desirable criteria- Qualification of recognised highly specialist skills in relevant areas (Masters or equivalent)
- Post Graduate qualification/experience in leadership
EXPERIENCEEssential criteria- Able to demonstrate recent NHS experience or equivalent
- Evidence of current consolidated experience at a Senior Level in relevant speciality
Desirable criteria- Qualification of recognised highly specialist skills in relevant areas (Masters or equivalent)
- Experience of working in acute and community specialities
Skills and KnowledgeEssential criteria- Must be literate, numerate and possess advanced verbal communication skills
- Ability to analyse, select and apply appropriate interventions from a range of modalities
- Good working clinical knowledge of specialist and standard community assistive equipment prescribing (including wheelchairs)
- Demonstrate ability to prioritise caseload and delegate clinical and non -clinical duties to staff of a lower grade
Desirable criteria- Community equipment service PIN holder with working knowledge of local prescribing policy and practices
