Leaders in Care is seeking a Clinical Lead Nurse in Winsford to drive clinical excellence across a specialist complex care service, supporting adults with acquired brain injuries, neurological conditions and mental health needs. The role blends hands-on care with leadership, staff development and quality improvement, including safeguarding and governance, to ensure high standards and strong CQC outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active NMC registration as an RGN, RMN or RNLD.
• Strong post-registration nursing experience.
• Experience within complex care, neurological care, mental health, learning disabilities or acquired brain injury.
• Confidence leading and supporting Nurses and wider care teams.
• Good understanding of clinical governance and CQC standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership to Nurses and Support Workers.
• Oversee care plans, risk assessments and clinical documentation.
• Support adults with complex nursing, neurological and mental health needs.
• Lead on medication management and safe clinical practice.
• Support the management of complex behaviours and clinical risk.
• Complete clinical supervision and competency assessments.
• Coach and develop Nurses and care staff.
• Lead on safeguarding, clinical governance and quality improvement.
• Support the service in maintaining strong CQC standards.

Clinical Lead Nurse Winsford | £24 per hour | £49,920 per annum | 40 Hours p/w

Looking for a Clinical Lead Nurse role where you can genuinely influence the quality of care?

We're recruiting for an experienced Clinical Lead Nurse to join a specialist complex care service in Winsford, supporting adults with acquired brain injuries, neurological conditions, mental health needs and complex behaviours.

This is a great opportunity for a confident Senior Nurse, Lead Nurse or Clinical Lead who enjoys combining hands‑on clinical care with leadership, staff development and improving standards across a service.

The Role

As Clinical Lead Nurse, you'll take responsibility for maintaining high clinical standards across the service while supporting and developing the wider nursing and care team. You will:
