The practice in Farnborough is seeking a genuine clinical leadership role for a General Practitioner with protected management time. You will work alongside a Practice Manager to lead, delegate and develop the GP team, benefiting from local Federation backing, while enjoying the challenge and rewards of senior leadership without partnership risk.

Role involves 5–6 sessions weekly with a protected management session and regular governance responsibilities, NHS pension and indemnity support.

Qualifications

• Must be qualified as a General Practitioner and registered with the GMC and UK performers list.
• Strong leadership and management skills for a clinical team.
• Ability to lead, delegate and develop the GP team and support staff.

Responsabilités

• Be the senior clinical voice on site day to day, working with the Practice Manager.
• Lead on clinical governance: identify gaps, assign responsibilities and implement support.
• Hold colleagues to account and develop them by sharing out areas of responsibility.
• Deliver 4-5 clinical sessions per week of 12-13 appointments, 15 minutes each.
• Oversee a digital triage system with an administrator supporting GP decisions.
• Contribute to the smooth running of a medium-sized practice with a proactive admin team.
