Job summary

Barchester is seeking a Care Home Deputy Manager & Clinical Lead to support delivery of high-quality care and lead the team in the General Manager's absence. You will drive clinical governance, audits and regulatory compliance to ensure residents enjoy the best possible quality of life.

As a Registered Nurse with leadership experience, you will mentor staff, manage safeguarding and clinical risk, and contribute to budget and strategic planning in a dynamic care environment.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
• Experience with safeguarding investigations and clinical risk assessments.
• HR experience and understanding of budget management.
• Mentoring and preceptorship support for newly qualified nurses.
• Strong sales and marketing knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality resident care.
• Monitor standards via audits and regulatory checks.
• Support General Manager and lead in their absence.
• Develop and deliver care strategies to improve outcomes.
