Job summary

Barchester Healthcare Homes Limited invites applications for a Care Home Deputy Manager & Clinical Lead. You will lead clinical care, monitor standards, audit performance, and drive safeguarding and regulatory compliance within a busy care home environment.

You’ll manage a multidisciplinary team, mentor nurses through preceptorship, and work closely with the General Manager to deliver high-quality, compassionate care and robust operational delivery.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN/RMN) with current NMC registration.
• Teaching/mentoring/supervision qualification required.
• Experience with safeguarding investigations and clinical risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and monitor care standards through audits.
• Supervise clinical practice and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Develop and deliver strategies to achieve care goals.
• Inspire and manage a multidisciplinary team to support residents.
