Job summary

Beaumont-Care-Homes is seeking a Clinical Lead for our Dementia Unit. You will provide senior nursing leadership, ensuring high quality life-enriching care for residents and guiding the care team.

We require current NMC registration, a patient-centred approach, and experience in elderly care. You will mentor staff, oversee medicines, care planning and documentation while upholding regulatory standards and maintaining compassionate, person-centred care.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with live NMC PIN and two years post-registration experience.
• Experience delivering nursing care within elderly health care sector (desirable).
• Experience in quality and clinical governance programmes, including audits.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of care staff to deliver exceptional care.
• Produce well-developed care plans and detailed risk assessments, with an understanding of regulatory frameworks.
• Maintain accurate documentation and resident records whilst incorporating the use of modern technology.
• Overseeing all aspects of medicine management on your shift in accordance with company policies and current legislation.
• Make timely clinical decisions and provide guidance to the team.
• Coach, mentor and support staff in line with the NMC Code.

An experienced nurse ideally at a senior level, is required to provide leadership to the team.

About the role

As a Clinical Lead/Charge Nurse you will be:

• Leading a team of care staff to deliver exceptional care
• Producing well-developed care plans and detailed risk assessments, with an understanding of regulatory frameworks
• Maintain accurate documentation and resident records whilst incorporating the use of modern technology
• Overseeing all aspects of medicine management on your shift in accordance with company policies and current legislation
• Responsible for making decisions in a timely manner
• Utilising your clinical skills to provide guidance and support to all team members
• Making decisions and taking action in a timely manner
• Supporting, guiding, teaching and mentoring others in line with the NMC Code, following its guidance at all times.
