Job summary

Athona Ltd seeks an experienced Clinical Lead to join a developing specialist Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE) service in Shropshire. You will lead a multidisciplinary team and shape trauma-informed practice across residential homes and schools.

Based in Shrewsbury, the full-time role carries NHS Band 8a equivalent pay: £57,000–£67,000 per annum, dependent on experience, with opportunities for clinical supervision, service development and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Experience with care-experienced children or sexual exploitation.
• Experience in residential care, CAMHS, inpatient or complex mental health settings.
• Ability to support young people in distress and risk.
• Experience or interest in supervision, leadership and service development.
• Strong skills in formulation, consultation and multidisciplinary working.

Currently, we have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Clinical Lead to join a developing specialist Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE) service in Shropshire.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping and developing a therapeutic, trauma-informed service supporting young people who are at risk of, or have lived experience of, sexual exploitation.

Working collaboratively with the National Clinical Lead and other regional Clinical Leads, you will lead a small multidisciplinary team and support the development of psychologically informed practice across residential homes and schools.

Salary: £57,000 – £67,000 per annum, dependent on experience (approximately NHS Band 8a equivalent)

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Lead and develop a small multidisciplinary clinical team.

• Confidence supporting young people experiencing significant distress and risk.
• Experience or interest in supervision, leadership, reflective practice and service development.
• Strong skills in formulation, consultation and multidisciplinary working.
